MEMBERS OF THE FEDERATION
Are you dissatisfied with your life? Do you often wonder if there isn't something more, something you're missing? Do you feel a thirst for a deeper, more intimate union with God? Do you relish prayerful moments of silence and solitude? Do you feel within you that buring desire to give youself completely and unreservedly to God? You may have a religious vocation. Indeed, God may be calling you to the consecrated life of the Capuchin Poor Clares. But there is only one way to find out...
There are five different Capuchin Poor Clare monasteries in the United States, each with slightly different requirements for admission. If you are interested, have questions or would like to schedule a visit, please contact the monastery nearest to where you live.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be a baptized and practicing Catholic
- Be at least 18 years of age and less than 40
- Have a high school education or the equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Be single and free of debt
Again, requirements vary slightly for each community, please contact an individual monastery for more specific information.

Fraternity is the heart of the charism of the Poor Clares. God granted St. Francis and St. Clare brothers and sisters and this was form them a clear sign that God called them to live evangelical perfection.
